The Gravel Loader

The Gravel Loader dive site was a functioning jetty located on your way to Bass Point Reserve.

It’s accessible via the boat ramp east of the loader and is generally well-protected from prevailing conditions. It is home to the remains of a former jetty, lying parallel to the west. At the end of the loader you’ll find four large vessel moorings which, at the southern-most mooring is a chain leading to a submerged anchor. The Gravel Loader commonly accommodates for large quantities of fish, including Australian giant cuttlefish, blue groper, bigscale bullseye, and old wife; well worth the look!
