Day One

Equipment and Pool

Today consists of online study revision, in depth discussions on hand signals and underwater communication, and fitting you out with correctly sized dive equipment for the course. After lunch you head to the pool for your first in water scuba experience. You will focus on learning equipment assembly and function, surface and underwater skills, and basic buoyancy. These skills will be your foundation for all diving.

Continuing your diving afterwards

Once you have completed your course we encourage you to join us for our weekly social dives every Saturday and Sunday. We also organise group travel holidays overseas to experience exotic dive locations and other unique underwater attractions like shipwrrcks and marine life encounters.

Day Two

Ocean Dives 1 and 2

Today will be your first ocean dives. Dive 1 in the morning is an orientation dive where we only focus on 4 key areas: equalisation, buoyancy, buddy teams and FUN. On dive 2 in the afternoon we begin to reintroduce some of the skills completed previously in the pool, and work more on buddy systems and communication.

Day Three

Ocean Dives 3 and 4

Your final day.  The first dive of the day we aim to finish off all the remaining skill requirements, so when we get to dive 4 in the afternoon you can focus on having a fun enjoyable dive, feeling confident in what you have learnt and taking the time to really engage with and observe the ocean environment.
